During stimulation you see pure wrist flexion without finger flexion. Good balance between radial and ulnar sides. This would be graded as a three out of five muscle contraction.

Muscle Anatomy

Muscles involved in wrist flexion:

Flexor Carpi Radialis
Origin: Medial epicondyle and ulna
Insertion: Attaches to the base of 2nd and 3rd metacarpals
Other actions: Adducts hand

Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
Origin: Medial epicondyle with the other superficial flexors
Insertion: Pisiform
Other actions: Adducts hand

Palmaris Longus
Origin: Medical epicondyle
Insertion: Retinaculum of wrist

Nerve innervation: Median nerve
Nerve root: C6, C7

Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
Nerve innervation: Ulnar nerve
Nerve root: C8, T1
