Responsible for all company operations, day-to-day activities of the company, and executing short-term and long-term organizational plans
Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Establish and enforce policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives, directors, and managers from all areas of company operations
  • Provide leadership, management, and vision to encourage maximum performance and dedication from all levels of the organization
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
  • Participate in expansion activities as needed (i.e., investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
  • Manage relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualification requirements:
  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer (in a manufacturing environment preferred) or relevant role and the ability to effectively perform each duty outlined above
  • Strong grasp of management theories and principles and a deep understanding of all business functions, such as Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory (in a medical device manufacturing environment is a plus), Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor is a plus), data analysis, and performance/operation metrics
  • Proficiency in leveraging technology and data analytics to drive business insights and enhance operational effectiveness
  • AI experience is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Strong aptitude in decision making and problem solving
Education and/or experience:
  • B.S./B.A. in Business Administration or relevant field (M.S./M.B.A. is a plus) and five to ten years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
